Episode 126: Keith Jarrett, British Poet, Author, Educator, and Performer

 

Keith Jarrett is a British poet, author, performer, and educator. He is the author of the poetry collection Selah, the play Safest Spot in Town, and the poetry pamphlet I Speak Home. Keith is a UK Poetry Slam Champion and FLUPP International Poetry Slam Winner. His work explores themes of identity, race, religion, and sexuality. Keith was also among those featured in the Topher Campbell documentary, Moments That Shaped Queer Black Britain.

 
Erick Taylor Woodby

Erick Taylor Woodby is a Los Angeles–based writer and podcast producer named to the National Black Justice Collective’s 2025 “Cohort of 100 Black LGBTQ+/SGL Emerging Leaders to Watch.” He is the creator, host, and producer of the top-ranked Our Black Gay Diaspora Podcast, recording more than 130 episodes that feature changemakers from 28 countries and 45 professions across the African diaspora.
